The Opportunity:


Senior Software Engineer in Test is responsible for building an automation framework and ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform, bulding various tools needed for simulating customer scenarios and integrating it with the automation framework.



Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop test plans and design hardward/software to execute those tests
  • Provide technical expertise and design input to other teams
  • Verify and validate new tests, test systems and solutions
  • Perform automated and manual tests, interpret results and de-bug
  • Create, update, and communicate required documentation


Skills and Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Golang, Typescript, JavaScript)
  • Experience with automation tools like, Selenium, Swagger, and/or SoapUI
  • 3+ years’ experience building, designing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks
  • Experience in manual and automated RESTful API and web application testing
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms
  • Experience with agile methodologies and automation-first engineering practices
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL or other relational database systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
  • 5+ years' experience with quality engineering with a focus on software testing, design control of software development, software verification and validation
  • Ability to complete detailed documentation efficiently and accurately
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to present issues, plans and objectives
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience testing cloud-native, microservices-based architectures is preferred
  • Experience testing serverless and asynchronous software architectures is a plus
  • Experience working in an AWS environment is a plus
  • Life science research experience is a plus


This role can be remote, our office is at 85 Merrimack Street, Boston, Massachusetts.
